  • Active voice throughout
  • All compliance codes removed from learner-facing content
  • Entry-level workplace examples (first job, casual work, school-based apprenticeships)
  • “Before You Continue” checkpoints close each module
VETiS, VET in Schools

Designed for 40-minute class periods

Each of the nine sections is written to fit a 40-minute class period. Module checkpoints signal the end of a session. Activities include pair-and-share options for classroom contexts.

  • Nine sections across three modules, one section per class period
  • Sentence starters and structured response frames
  • Matching, fill-in-the-blank, and short-answer activities mixed across sections
  • Two activities include “share with a classmate” options for F2F delivery
  • Assessment tasks use a simulated workplace scenario (Ridgeline Group Corporate), no own-workplace requirement
Simulated organisation

Ridgeline Group Corporate, a realistic assessment context

Assessment tasks for BSBPEF201 are set in the Group Corporate division of Ridgeline Group Pty Ltd. Learners take on the role of an Administration Officer navigating a workload and personal wellbeing concern with their team leader. The scenario is realistic, relatable across a wide learner cohort, and completely contained within the simorg, learners do not need access to a real workplace.

This means the unit is usable by TtW providers working with cohorts who have no current employment. The simulated workplace replaces the own-workplace requirement that assessment-only pathways cannot satisfy.
