From understanding what wellbeing is to raising a concern and finding support. Each module is designed in 40-minute sections for class-period delivery.
Builds the foundation. Learners identify what wellbeing means across four dimensions, recognise personal factors that affect it, and connect workplace factors to their legal status as psychosocial hazards under Australian WHS law.
Teaches the practical skills for raising a concern at work. Covers communication styles, the four-part “I statement” structure, building a communication plan, and active listening techniques. Directly addresses the Performance Evidence requirement for planning and conducting a wellbeing conversation.
Covers the practical side of accessing help. Learners are taught what an Employee Assistance Program is, how to access it, and how to document workplace support resources using a structured six-field template, the foundation for the assessment’s resource investigation task.
Every file in the pack, with its current production status.

BSBPEF201 is the highest-demand unit in BSB nationally for Transition to Work providers. This pack is designed to the exact cohort.
The learner guide follows the VETiS and TtW plain-language standard throughout. Sentences are short, paragraphs are short, and every section ends with a scaffolded activity before the learner moves on.
Each of the nine sections is written to fit a 40-minute class period. Module checkpoints signal the end of a session. Activities include pair-and-share options for classroom contexts.
Assessment tasks for BSBPEF201 are set in the Group Corporate division of Ridgeline Group Pty Ltd. Learners take on the role of an Administration Officer navigating a workload and personal wellbeing concern with their team leader. The scenario is realistic, relatable across a wide learner cohort, and completely contained within the simorg, learners do not need access to a real workplace.
This means the unit is usable by TtW providers working with cohorts who have no current employment. The simulated workplace replaces the own-workplace requirement that assessment-only pathways cannot satisfy.
