The project ends. The work that
needs doing every month doesn’t.

Content stays current for years – but assessment quality checks, compliance evidence, LMS updates, and the admin that eats your team’s week never stop. Ongoing keeps Learnbuilt’s systems working on your operation month to month, scoped to your RTO – and your SME keeps sign-off.

How it works.

Ongoing isn’t a bundle of units. It’s the support your operation actually needs each month, priced to the shape of your operation rather than to a quantity of output.

1

I work out where your recurring load actually sits

A conversation first, about what genuinely moves at your RTO month to month: assessment quality and marking checks, compliance admin and evidence, LMS updates, content refreshes when a training package shifts. How much scope you carry, how many cohorts run at once, how often something changes, and how exposed you are at audit. That picture is what sets the fee, not a promised number of documents. No two Ongoing arrangements look the same.

2

You get someone who already knows your setup

I hold your qualifications, your simulated organisation, your LMS configuration, your assessment style and your compliance history. That is the whole point. A request that costs a cold provider a week of getting up to speed costs me an afternoon, and a mass LMS update across every course is minutes rather than days. I own and maintain the systems doing the work, including keeping them current with training package changes.

3

New builds are scoped separately, on purpose

A new unit, a full rebuild, or a whole-of-LMS migration is a project, not maintenance – so I scope it on its own with a proper plan, timeline, and price. You get the focus that work deserves, and you always know the cost before I start. Never a surprise on your monthly invoice.

4

Your SME signs off, same as always

Everything produced lands as draft for your named SME to review, validate, and sign off before it reaches learners. That never changes, whatever the support mix.

What it can cover.

Scoped to your operation – these are the shapes it usually takes.

How the fee is set. Not by the hour, and not by a quantity of documents. The monthly fee reflects how much change actually flows through your operation and how predictable it is: the size of your scope, how many cohorts you run, how often a package moves, how much marking and QA sits there routinely, and how exposed you are at audit. A large RTO with three cohorts running and an audit due prices higher than a stable eight-unit operation, because more will arrive and less of it can be planned for.

Why not per unit or per hour. Because both punish the thing that makes this work. If you are paying by the document, a quiet month feels like a waste even though nothing needed doing. If you are paying by the hour, my speed becomes your loss, since work that would take someone else a week takes me an afternoon precisely because I already know your setup. What you are paying for is that a competent pair of hands is already across your RTO and answers within a few business days when something moves. In a quiet month, that is still exactly what you bought.

Is it right for you? The first question I will ask is: walk me through what actually changes in your materials in a typical quarter. If the answer involves supersessions, new cohorts, audit preparation and marking volume, this fits. If the answer is “not much until we add a qualification”, it does not, and I will tell you so – project work will serve you better and cost you less.

Terms: 6-month minimum, then rolling monthly with 30 days notice. Invoiced monthly in advance. No completed project required to start – Ongoing is the natural continuation of a build, but you can begin here. Where the mix includes your own team running parts of the system, each operator needs their own Claude subscription (I’ll advise on the right tier during setup). For RTOs scaling qualifications they’ll sell, I also structure partnership arrangements – talk to me.

As with everything Learnbuilt does: I produce the materials, the evidence, and the drafts – your named SME reviews and signs off. Ongoing support is not compliance advice, regulatory auditing, or a guarantee of ASQA outcomes. Compliance accountability always stays with your RTO.
